Matchable values your privacy and is committed to processing only the data required to enhance our services. We handle your information with care, respecting the data we have collected about you and your use of our services. We never share your data for commercial purposes with third parties.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and services offered by Matchable. The effective date for these terms is 24/02/2023. Any new version of these terms will replace all prior versions. We also explain how we store and protect your data against misuse, and your rights regarding the personal data you provide to us. Data Processing
Below, you can learn how we process your data, where we (or our service providers) store it, what security measures we use, and who has access to the data.

Web Hosting
We use web hosting and email services from TransIP. TransIP processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of our services, which are not personal data. TransIP has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent data loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Under the confidentiality agreement, TransIP is obliged to maintain the secrecy of your data. For our regular business email communications, we use the services of [Email Service]. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to minimize misuse, data loss, and data corruption. [Email Service] does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all email communication confidentially.

Payment Processors
Mollie
For processing payments on our platform, we use Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address, location, and payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has implemented suitable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve their services, including sharing anonymized data with third parties. All the safeguards mentioned regarding the protection of your personal data apply to Mollie's services, including the third parties they engage. Mollie retains your data only for as long as permitted by law.

General Purpose of Data Processing
We use your data exclusively to provide our services, directly related to the task you assign to us. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share your data with us, and we use this data to contact you at a later time, except as per your request, we will seek your explicit consent. Your data is not shared with third parties, except to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality agreements under their contract with us or by oath or legal obligation.

Automatically Collected Data
Data automatically collected by our website is processed to improve our services. This data (e.g., your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.

Retention Period
We retain your data as long as you are our client. This means we keep your customer profile until you notify us that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us, we will consider it a request for data erasure (right to be forgotten). This also means that we keep your data for no longer than two years from the last contact or transaction unless a legal justification exists. We are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data due to applicable administrative obligations. These data will be kept as long as the applicable term requires. However, our employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents we create as a result of your assignment.

Your Rights
Based on Dutch and European law, you, as a data subject, have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of Matchable. We explain below what these rights are and how you can exercise them. To prevent misuse, we typically send copies and backups of your data only to your known email address. If you wish to receive the data at a different email address or by post, we will ask you to confirm your identity. We maintain records of completed requests, and in the case of a request to be forgotten, we maintain anonymized data. You will receive all copies and backups of data in the machine-readable data format we use within our systems. You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you believe that we are using your personal data improperly.

Right to Access
You have the right to access your data that we (or our service providers) process and relate to you personally. You can make a request for access to our privacy representative. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a copy of all data to your known email address, along with an overview of the processors who have this data, specifying the category under which we have stored this data.

Right to Rectification
You have the right to have data processed by us (or our service providers) and related to you personally or capable of being traced to you personally to be modified. You can make a request for rectification to our privacy representative. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to your known email address that the data has been adjusted.

Right to Restrict Processing
You have the right to restrict the data processed by us (or our service providers) related to you personally or capable of being traced to you personally. You can make a request for restriction to our privacy representative. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to your known email address that the data will no longer be processed until you remove the restriction.

Right to Data Portability
You have the right to transfer the data processed by us (or our service providers) and related to you personally or capable of being traced to you personally to another party. You can make a request for transfer to our privacy representative. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send copies or backups of all data related to you that we have processed or that have been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf.

Right to Object and Other Rights
In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Matchable. If you object, we will immediately cease data processing, pending the handling of your objection. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. Our website uses cookies from the American company Google as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website.
